LocalLife South Shore — Official Contest Rules

Prize Drawing — Official Rules

1. Sponsor and Administrator

The sponsor and administrator of each LocalLife prize drawing (the “Contest”) is Breakaway Top Ventures, LLC d/b/a Breakaway Growth Operators (“Sponsor”), PO Box 5221, Sun City Center, FL 33572. Questions: contests@breakawaygo.com. Participating local businesses contributing prizes (“Prize Providers”) are not responsible for operating or administering the Contest unless specifically stated in the applicable published Contest Prize Schedule.

2. Contest Identification and Promotion Period

WIN A 7-DAY CARIBBEAN CRUISE FOR TWO + 9 MORE AMAZING PRIZES! is the applicable Contest. Each Contest is a separate promotion identified by its published contest name and unique Contest Prize Schedule. The start date, end date, exact start/end times and time zone, and drawing date are stated on the applicable contest entry page and incorporated Contest Prize Schedule before entries begin. The administrator selects these dates; they are not automatically tied to a calendar month. Sponsor’s system is the official timekeeping device. Subsequent adjustments after entries open are subject to Section 14 and any applicable law; administrative editing capability does not authorize undisclosed or retroactive material changes. The administrator-selected entry period shown on the contest page starts October 21, 2026 12:00:00 A.M. ET and ends December 31, 2026 11:59:00 P.M. ET.

3. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of Florida age 18 or older at entry. Employees, officers, directors and contractors of Sponsor and of Prize Providers participating in that Contest, and their immediate family or household members, are not eligible. Sponsor may request reasonable verification of age, identity, Florida residency and compliance. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. How to Enter

During the published Promotion Period, an eligible person may enter the same Contest using either of these entry paths: (1) the public LocalLife South Shore page at https://locallifehq.com/florida/southshore/resident-challenge, through its contest entry form; or (2) the contest entry option displayed on the LocalLife membership page https://locallifehq.com/community/dashboard/contest. Both paths must lead to the same Contest and submit to the same official contest-entry system. Entering does not require creating a LocalLife resident account, registering a business, signing into a member account, or purchasing any membership. People who are already members and people who are not members may enter on equal terms. If the membership page offers registration or membership separately, that process is not part of the free contest entry and is not mandatory. Entry is free. No purchase, payment, paid membership, donation, business visit, referral, consultation, review, social-media post or proof of purchase is required. Limit one entry per person per Contest across BOTH entry paths combined, regardless of email addresses, telephone numbers, devices, accounts or submission route. A second submission through the other path does not create an additional entry. Duplicate, automated, bulk, inaccurate, late or fraudulent entries may be disqualified after reasonable review. A person may receive no more than one prize in the same Contest. Any separately advertised challenges or special promotions must have their own disclosed eligibility and rules and do not add entries to this Contest unless approved rules expressly provide for them.

5. Agreement to the Official Rules

A participant must affirm eligibility and agreement to the applicable Official Rules by checking a required, unchecked-by-default rules checkbox. The published version and timestamp of acceptance will be retained with the entry. Sponsor’s good-faith decisions on Contest administration are binding to the extent allowed by law.

6. Marketing Permission Is Separate and Optional

Any subscription to LocalLife marketing messages is separate from entry and completely optional. The marketing consent control must be distinct from, and not preselected with, the required rules consent. Declining or later withdrawing marketing consent will not disqualify an otherwise eligible entry or change the odds of winning. Marketing messages will include applicable unsubscribe options.

7. Prizes and Contest Prize Schedule

10 prizes are available for the current drawing period, with a total announced retail value of $3,900. Each Contest may award one or more prizes, with the exact number, item descriptions, donor identities, approximate retail values (“ARV”), any expiration dates, transferability, material limitations, delivery/redemption procedures, and prize-specific costs identified in the Contest Prize Schedule published before entry opens. There is no fixed individual prize-value ceiling. LocalLife’s administrative policy limits the total announced ARV of all prizes offered in one Contest to $4,999; the application will block publication above that amount. This is an internal cap, not a statement of the Florida statutory threshold. Prizes may include travel, gift certificates, services, experiences, or goods fulfilled by Prize Providers. LocalLife does not plan to ship the underlying physical prizes to winners; delivery of the underlying prize is arranged with the Prize Provider under the published terms. Prize availability, geographic restrictions, blackout dates, booking requirements, expiration and any costs not included must be disclosed. Any promotional descriptions of travel awards must specify exactly what transportation, accommodations, taxes, gratuities and other elements are or are not included. Sponsor may substitute a lawful prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control and remains responsible for ensuring an offered prize or lawful substitute is awarded. No cash alternative, transfer or sale except as required by law or expressly permitted in the Prize Schedule. Any gift certificate expiration or restrictions must comply with applicable law and be clearly disclosed.

8. Random Drawing and Odds

On the drawing date shown on the published Contest page and Contest Prize Schedule, or within the disclosed drawing window, Sponsor will randomly select a number of potential winners corresponding to the available prizes from the eligible entries. Selection is without replacement so that a person may win only one prize per Contest. If the number of eligible entries is smaller than the number of prizes, Sponsor will award prizes in accordance with a fair, pre-disclosed procedure consistent with applicable law. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received. The drawing must not occur before the entry period closes.

9. Winner Notification and Verification

Potential winners will be contacted via their supplied email address or telephone number. A potential winner must respond within 72 hours following the first notification attempt and provide reasonably requested verification, affidavits, releases, or legally required tax documents. If the person fails to respond, is ineligible, declines, or fails to complete required verification, Sponsor may select an alternate at random from eligible non-winning entries and repeat this process until the prize is awarded, subject to applicable law.

10. Mailed Prize Certificate and Prize Provider Redemption

After verification, Sponsor will mail a prize certificate to the verified winner at the confirmed mailing address, generally within ten business days. The certificate will identify the prize, Prize Provider, redemption steps, contact details, relevant restrictions and any deadline. The certificate is evidence of the awarded prize; it is not a promise that Sponsor will directly perform the service, deliver goods, book travel or provide the Prize Provider’s product. The winner is responsible for contacting the Prize Provider and arranging redemption as described: for example, ordering custom cupcakes directly from the donor for donor fulfillment or scheduling an oil change at the participating repair shop. The Prize Provider is responsible for providing the promised goods/services in accordance with the published prize terms. Sponsor remains responsible for ensuring the prize or a lawful substitute is awarded and for handling fulfillment complaints. Winners should promptly report certificate nondelivery or Prize Provider nonperformance to Sponsor. Sponsor will share only information reasonably needed with the relevant Prize Provider for delivery or verification, or as required by law; no nonwinner entry list will be provided.

11. Privacy

Entry information is used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, contact winners, prevent fraud, maintain lawful records, and honor optional marketing preferences. Entry information from either entry path is handled consistently. A postal address may be requested from verified winners for certificate mailing, but must not be required solely to submit an entry unless separately justified and disclosed. Information will be handled under Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://breakawaygo.com/privacy-policy. The Official Rules control Contest administration to the extent permitted by law.

12. Public Winner Announcement

By accepting a prize, each winner consents, to the extent permitted by law, to a limited announcement of first name, last initial, city, state and prize won. Sponsor will obtain separate permission before using a winner’s photograph, full testimonial or other extended promotional materials, except where otherwise permitted by law.

13. Taxes and Expenses

Winners are responsible for applicable federal, state and local taxes and any personal expense not expressly included in the prize description. Sponsor or the Prize Provider may request tax information and issue tax documentation when required by law. Travel and service prize exclusions must be specified in the approved Prize Schedule.

14. General Conditions; Changes and Continuity

Sponsor may disqualify participants for tampering, false identities, fraud, abuse or violation of the Official Rules, but not arbitrarily reject valid entries. Material changes to a Contest after entries open, including its eligibility requirements, prizes, prize total, odds, start/end times, drawing date or redemption terms, must not be made merely because dashboard fields are editable. Such changes require documented legal review, an approved change procedure, appropriate public notice and preservation of the version and terms applicable to entries already received. If circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially compromise integrity, Sponsor may suspend, modify or cancel the Contest only to the extent permitted by applicable law and, if feasible, award prizes through a fair method appropriately disclosed. The administrator’s ability to edit draft Contest fields does not itself constitute legal authority to change already-published terms.

15. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent lawful, entrants and winners release Sponsor, Prize Providers and their respective personnel and agents from claims arising from participation and use or acceptance of a prize, except claims that cannot legally be waived. They are not responsible for transmission issues beyond reasonable control. Nothing waives nonwaivable rights or limits liability that applicable law prohibits limiting.

16. Facebook and Instagram Disclaimer

If advertised on Facebook or Instagram, the Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram. Entrants release those platforms to the extent permitted by law and direct Contest questions to Sponsor.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

Florida law governs, without regard to conflicts principles. Subject to applicable law, disputes about the Contest shall be brought before a competent court in Hillsborough County, Florida. If a provision is unenforceable, remaining terms remain effective.

18. Winner List and Rules Requests

For a copy of the applicable Official Rules or winner list for a completed Contest, contact contests@breakawaygo.com and identify the Contest by name and dates.
